IT’S IN THE CAN – Did you know cans are seasonal and full of vitamin all year long? Let us tell you why... and how it is possible.Green beans, peas or corn: when they are fresh, their time is pressing. But by putting them in cans, we can enjoy them all year long, without losing their benefits.

Normal, as they are….

- Seasonally grown in fields

- Harvested when fully ripped

Most vitamins, minerals and fibres are thus stabilised. It is proven! Indeed, the collective scientific expertise of INRA* (2007) showed that canned or frozen vegetables contained higher amounts of nutrients than fresh vegetables (which went through over a week-long supply chain and breaks in the cold chain).

Why?

With a longer supply chain – due to multiple transports between farmers, distributors, salesmen and consumers – vitamins and mineral salts of fresh products diminish with time. Thanks to a harvest when ripe and the deadline optimisation between harvesting and canning, the vegetables’ nutritional quality is preserved into the can.
